추석에 솔이네는 살던 도시를 떠나 할머니 집으로 갑니다. 할머니 계신 그 곳 들판은 올해도 노란 벼들이 가득하겠지요. 두 손 가득히 선물 꾸러미를 들고 할머니가 계신 시골로 가는 길은 즐겁기만 합니다. 이번 추석에는 솔이네 처럼 가족과의 사랑을 확인하고 이웃과 함께 즐거움을 나누는 아름다운 전통 풍습의 의미를 생각해 보아요. 어린이도서연구회 권장도서이며 미국과 일본으로 저작권을 수출했다.
